GameFlow ("we," "us," or "our") operates a team management platform for youth and recreational sports teams. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.

Information We Collect

We collect information that coaches and parents provide when using the platform:

Coach account information: name, email address, and password
Parent and guardian information: name, email address, and phone number (added by the coach)
Player information: name, jersey number, position, and age group
Team data: schedules, game results, RSVPs, attendance, and player statistics
Photos and media uploaded through the app
Messages sent through the team chat feature
Practice plans, lineups, and other coach-created content
Device information and push notification tokens for delivering alerts

How We Use Your Information

To operate the platform and deliver team management features
To send email notifications including game reminders, score updates, and team announcements
To send push notifications to parents and coaches who have opted in
To generate AI-assisted practice plans when requested by a coach
To maintain team records including statistics, attendance, and season history
To respond to support requests and contact form submissions

AI-Powered Features

GameFlow uses an AI service to generate practice plans based on coach input. When a coach requests a practice plan, a description of the session goals is sent to our AI provider to generate drill suggestions. No personally identifiable information about players or parents is shared with the AI provider as part of this process.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate GameFlow. Your data may be processed by these providers in accordance with their own privacy policies.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) — S3: Storage for photos and media uploaded through the app
Amazon Web Services (AWS) — SES: Delivery of email notifications and communications
Railway: Application hosting and infrastructure
Anthropic: AI model provider used for practice plan generation

We do not sell your personal information to any third party.

Photos and Media

Photos uploaded through GameFlow are stored securely and are only accessible to members of the team they were shared with. We do not use photos for any purpose other than displaying them within the team's feed.

Children's Privacy

GameFlow is designed for use by coaches and parents who are adults. Player names and statistics are collected as part of team management, but we do not knowingly collect personal contact information directly from children under 13. Coaches are responsible for obtaining appropriate consent before adding any player or family information to the platform.

Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your team is active on the platform. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at contact@gameflowapp.com.

Notifications and Opt-Out

You may opt out of push notifications at any time through your device or browser settings. To stop receiving email communications or to request removal from the platform, contact us at contact@gameflowapp.com.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission and secure credential storage. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
